Before You Start

Tools you will need

• Phillips screwdriver

Preparation

• Have 4 fresh AAA batteries on hand, all the same brand

⚠️ Note: If your sidecar headlight won't power on, or shows a red light when you try to turn it on, the batteries need to be replaced.

Steps

Remove the Underside Screw

Locate the Phillips screw on the front underside of the headlight housing and remove it.

Remove the Lens Assembly

With the screw removed, the lens assembly can be pulled free from the housing.

Replace the Batteries

1. Undo the clip holding the 4 AAA batteries in place.
2. Remove the old batteries and insert 4 new AAA batteries, matching the + and − orientation marked in the housing.
3. Reseat the clip.

Reassemble the Headlight

1. Insert the lens assembly back into the headlight housing.
2. Reinstall and tighten the Phillips screw.

Troubleshooting

• Light still won't turn on after new batteries → Check + / − orientation and that the clip is fully seated. If it still doesn't work, contact support.
