MOD Pawsenger | User Guide

In this article: You’ll learn how to unfold, assemble, and prepare the MOD Pawsenger Pet Carrier for use. The MOD Pawsenger is designed to be used with compatible MOD front/rear baskets and folds flat for easy storage when not in use.

Before You Start

Preparation

• Ensure your bike is fully assembled and standing securely on its kickstand.
• You need a front basket or rear basket to mount this thing on to ride with your pet. 

Steps to Unfold Pawsenger and Mount on Basket

Step 1: Unfold the Pawsenger

1. The Pawsenger comes folded flat, as shown in the first image.

2. Lift the top panel upward to open the carrier and begin forming the structure. Then, swing the bottom side flap upward and into position along the side of the carrier.

3. Zip the side flap closed to secure that side panel.

4. Repeat the same process on the opposite side

Step 2: Place the Pawsenger on the Basket

• Place the Pawsenger on your front or rear basket, making sure the sides with the large mesh opening face forward or backward, and the sides with straps sit on the left and right.

Step 3: Secure the Pawsenger to the Basket

• Wrap the four Velcro straps around the basket tubing (two on each side) and press them closed to secure the Pawsenger in place.

Built-In Seatbelt

An interior safety strap attaches to your pet’s collar or harness to help prevent jumping out and keep them securely in place.

Rain & Wind Cover

Includes a removable rain cover to help protect your pet from rain, wind, and colder conditions while riding.

Carry Strap

Includes a shoulder strap so you can comfortably carry the Pawsenger when you’re off the bike.

Troubleshooting

• Pawsenger feels loose on the rack → Check that all four Velcro straps are wrapped fully around the rack tubing and pressed firmly closed.
• Pawsenger shifts while riding → Reposition the carrier so it sits flat and centered on the rack, then re-secure all straps.
• Zippers are difficult to close → Make sure fabric panels are aligned correctly and not caught in the zipper track before closing.
• Pet tries to move or jump out → Confirm the interior safety leash is properly attached to your pet’s collar or harness.
