Overview
The newly redesigned MOD Snap-On Bench is now fully modular, offering four different assembly configurations to suit your rider’s age, weight, and riding style. It securely mounts to any MOD BIKE rear rack using our signature Snap-On system and supports riders up to 65 lbs. Whether you're outfitting a MOD Cargo with two benches for a longer seat or customizing for a single passenger, this versatile bench adapts to your needs.

Steps
Step 1: Review the different configurations and decide which one is for you
The MOD Snap-On Bench is a modular product that can be fitted in 4 different configurations, so before you start take a look at the different options below and decide which one is right for you.
A. Padded Seat Only.
B. Padded Seat With Backrest.
C. Padded Seat With Backrest, Handlebars and Arm Rest
D. Padded Seat With Backrest, Handlebars and Arm Rest
Step 2: Decide on the fore / aft position of the seat.
- The MOD Snap-On Bench can be fitted in 2 different fore / aft positions depending on the bike it’s fitted to.
- In most cases you will use the flat position with the front edge of the seat in line with the bottom plate as shown in the pictures above.
- If you are fitting to a MOD Easy or using the 2 seat set up on the MOD Cargo, you will need to use the rear position shown below.
Step 3: Assemble seat components.
- Assemble the relevant components for the configuration you have chosen as shown below and tighten the 8 bolts on the underside of the seat using a 4mm allen wrench.
- If you are fitting the armrest you will also need to remove the bolts on the back of the seat rest and re-attach them with the arm rest bracket underneath the bottom 2.

Step 4: Fit to bike.
- With the MOD Snap-On Bench fully assembled, attach to the rack on your bike by locating the 4 bolts on the underside of the bench into the holes on the top of the rack and slide back until it clicks in place.
- Check the bench is securely held in place and the Plunger is fully engaged (as shown below).
- To remove the MOD Snap-On Bench from the rack, pull the plunger to release the lock and slide the bench forward.
FAQs
- Can I use the MOD Snap-On Bench on a regular rack? No, the bench is designed only to attach to the MOD Snap On rack and cannot be fitted to any other type of bike rack.
- Can I use the MOD Snap-On Bench on a bike other than a MOD Bike? No, the MOD Snap On rack is only available fitted to a MOD Bike.
- What’s the maximum weight for the MOD Snap-On Bench? 65lbs.
- What if my child needs somewhere to rest their feet? We’ve got you covered with either the Frame Pegs or Rack Pegs for added comfort and stability.
