Step 2: Decide on the fore / aft position of the seat.

  • The MOD Snap-On Bench can be fitted in 2 different fore / aft positions depending on the bike it’s fitted to.
  • In most cases you will use the flat position with the front edge of the seat in line with the bottom plate as shown in the pictures above.
  • If you are fitting to a MOD Easy or using the 2 seat set up on the MOD Cargo, you will need to use the rear position shown below.

Step 3: Assemble seat components.

  • Assemble the relevant components for the configuration you have chosen as shown below and tighten the 8 bolts on the underside of the seat using a 4mm allen wrench.
  • If you are fitting the armrest you will also need to remove the bolts on the back of the seat rest and re-attach them with the arm rest bracket underneath the bottom 2.

  • With the MOD Snap-On Bench fully assembled, attach to the rack on your bike by locating the 4 bolts on the underside of the bench into the holes on the top of the rack and slide back until it clicks in place.
  • Check the bench is securely held in place and the Plunger is fully engaged (as shown below).
